The session commenced with a speech by Professor Abdul Farid “Salangi” regarding the standards and criteria for establishing the educational curriculum at Woman Online university. Subsequently, appreciation was expressed, and certificates of appreciation were presented to esteemed professors of the Medical Faculty:
– Professor Dr.Ghulam Haidar “Yawazy”
– Professor Dr.Besmellah “shewamal”
– Professor Dr. Mohammad Akram “Babury”
Following that, Dr. Soheila “Erfani,” the Deputy -chancellor of the Academic Affairs, conducted the session according to the agenda, which included the following issues:
1. Discussion on the faculty requirements and curriculum:
In this section, the faculty requirements and curriculum were discussed, and opinions were exchanged. The members of the Academic Council reviewed the aspects related to determining the faculty requirements and regulating the curriculum, sharing their viewpoints on the matter.
2. Conversation about the merger of certain disciplines within a faculty:
During this part of the session, the merger of specific disciplines within a faculty, particularly in the Medical Faculty, was discussed and examined. The council members presented their opinions and suggestions on this issue, and decisions were made based on diverse experiences and perspectives.
3. Discussion on the mechanism for selecting department heads and faculty heads:
In this segment, the mechanism for selecting department heads and faculty heads was discussed and examined. The council members reviewed various programs and methods for selecting department heads and faculty heads through collaboration and sharing of ideas. It was directed that all faculty heads align the curriculum and requirements of their respective faculties in accordance with the curriculum of public universities.
Conclusion:
At the end of the session, decisions and recommendations were made for further steps. The members of the Academic Council took responsibility for implementing the decisions, and necessary steps were planned to follow up on the matters discussed. The General Head of the Medical Faculty was instructed to align all medical disciplines under the supervision of the respective departments and present a report at the next session.
