On Friday, 31/5/1404, an academic webinar titled “Decision Making and Problem Solving Skills” was held, with the participation of over 700 attendees, including the university’s administration, leadership team, professors, students, academic and administrative staff.
The program began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Ms. Zuhra Mirzad. Following that, Ms. Malalay Salangi and Ms. Mina kakar, warmly welcomed all attendees and highlighted the relevance and importance of the webinar’s topic.
Following that, Ms. Adeleh Zamani, Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs at Woman Online University, welcomed the webinar participants and highlighted the importance of decision making and problem solving skills in personal and social life.

Professor Manizha Ramzai welcomed the participants and delivered a comprehensive presentation, which included the following key points:
• Decision making and problem solving are closely connected, enabling individuals to select optimal solutions from multiple options to achieve personal or organizational goals. This process involves practical, logical, and behavioral dimensions.
• Problem-solving involves identifying challenges and implementing effective, sustainable solutions in personal, social, and organizational contexts, with the aim of preventing their recurrence. It is regarded as a critical competency in both individual and organizational leadership.
• These skills play a critical role in narrowing the gap between existing conditions and desired outcomes by means of systematic analysis, critical evaluation, and effective solution implementation. Furthermore, they foster a deeper understanding of family dynamics, the expectations of younger generations, and broader societal needs.
