• Introduction
On Friday, June 26, 2026, an academic webinar titled “Philosophy

and Its Foundations: An Introduction to Philosophical Thought”

was held at Woman Online University, attended by the university’s

leadership team, professors, students, and academic and

administrative staff. The webinar aimed to enhance participants’

understanding of philosophy and philosophical thought. It also

provided a valuable opportunity for the exchange of academic

ideas and experiences.

The program began with a recitation of verses from the Holy

Quran by Ms. Rakia Habil. Following that, Ms. Mina Kakar and

Ms. Frozan Habibi, warmly welcomed all attendees and

highlighted the relevance and importance of the webinar’s topic.

Following that, Ms. Adeleh Zamani, Vice Chancellor of Student

Affairs at Woman Online University, welcomed the participants

and highlighted the importance of philosophical thinking in

fostering intellectual growth and encouraging thoughtful

inquiry among young people.

An introductory video about Mr. Abdul Wahab Khamosh was

presented by the University’s Publications Team.

• Presentation
Mr. Abdul Wahab Khamosh delivered a comprehensive presentation

on the foundations and significance of philosophy. He explained that

philosophy is both an academic discipline and a way of exploring

fundamental questions about truth, humanity, the world, and the

meaning of life. He also discussed the role of philosophy in fostering

critical thinking, logical reasoning, and informed decision making,

emphasizing its relevance in addressing contemporary intellectual,

cultural, and ethical challenges. He further highlighted the importance

of questioning assumptions, engaging in thoughtful inquiry, and

cultivating an open and inquisitive mindset, noting that these

principles form the foundation of philosophical study.

Following the presentation, Mr. Abdul Wahab Khamosh responded
