Introduction
On 11/7/1404, an event was held at Woman Online University to commemorate Teachers’ Day and officially mark the beginning of the Fall Semester. The event was attended by approximately 600 participants, including members of the university’s leadership team, professors, students, and academic and administrative staff.
The program began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by Ms. Zuhra Mirzad. Following that, Ms. Malalay Salangi and Ms. Nafisa Wakili, warmly welcomed all attendees and highlighted the relevance and importance of the event.
Following that, a video prepared by the students of Woman Online University in celebration of Teachers’ Day was presented by the University’s Publications Department, conveying messages of appreciation for teachers.
Speeches
Ms. Sohaila Erfani, Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs at Woman Online University, welcomed the participants and emphasized the important role of teachers, highlighting their contributions to education and their lasting impact on students’ academic development.
Ms. Adeleh Zamani, Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs at Woman Online University, extended her congratulations on Teachers’ Day and noted that a teacher serves selflessly, with their greatest reward being the achievements and success of their students.
Ms. Najma Samkani, Administrative Head; Ms. Mazari Atefi, Department Head; Mr. Boman Yousufi, Faculty Member; Ms. Fakhriya Samandari, Department Head; Ms. Liza Sorosh; and Ms. Eqlima Khurami delivered remarks, sharing insightful reflections on the essential role of teachers in society and the value of education.
Mr. Abdul Farid Salangi, Chancellor and Founder of Woman Online University, welcomed the participants and emphasized that teaching is both a moral and spiritual responsibility. He highlighted the critical role of teachers as transmitters of knowledge and noted that, in advanced societies, educators are highly respected. He also commended the professors of Woman Online University for their dedication and selfless service to students.
In the final segment, students shared messages to congratulate and express their appreciation for their teachers.
