On Friday, July 24, 2026, an academic webinar titled “The Secrets of

a New York Times Bestselling Author: How to Write Stories the World

Wants to Read” was held at Woman Online University, attended by the

university’s leadership team, professors, students, and academic and

administrative staff. The webinar aimed to enhance participants’

understanding of the art of storytelling and the principles of creative writing.

It also provided a valuable opportunity for the exchange of academic ideas

and experiences.

The program began with a recitation of verses from the Holy Quran by

Ms. Yalda Mohammadi. Following that, Ms. Rakia Habil and Ms. Madina

Hamidi, warmly welcomed all attendees and highlighted the relevance and

importance of the webinar’s topic.

Following that, Dr. Mohammad Aref Dostyar, Chair of the International

Relations Committee at Woman Online University, welcomed the participants

and emphasized the role of writing in communicating ideas, sharing

knowledge and experience, and inspiring positive change.

An introductory video about Mr. Bob Goff was presented by the University’s

Publications Team.

* Presentation
Mr. Bob Goff delivered a comprehensive presentation on the principles of

effective writing and storytelling. He emphasized the importance of having

a clear purpose in writing and creating stories that engage readers and

leave a lasting impact. He encouraged participants to record their ideas

regularly, develop their writing skills, and make writing a consistent part

of their practice. Mr. Goff further explained that success in writing depends

not only on talent but also on perseverance, continuous learning, careful

revision, and drawing from personal experiences. He provided practical

guidance on beginning the writing process and encouraged participants

to continue practicing, value their ideas, and work toward creating

meaningful and impactful stories.

Following the presentation, Mr. Bob Goff responded to participants’

questions, leading to a productive and engaging exchange of ideas.

Conclusion
At the end of the webinar, Ms. Najma Samkani, Dean of the Faculty

of Medicine, summarized the key points of the session and appreciated

the active participation of all attendees. She emphasized the importance

of continuing such programs to enhance awareness and support learning

and academic development.
