From December 2 to 4, 2024, the second international conference focusing on migration, displaced populations, charitable policies, and associated challenges took place at the University of Kerala in India. The event brought together researchers and scholars from various countries, including Afghanistan, India, Turkey, Yemen, Vietnam, and Sri Lanka.
Professor Abdul Tamim Ahadi from the Woman Online University represented our university (Woman Online University) at this conference. He presented his research on the obstacles faced by girls and women in Afghanistan and proposed potential solutions to enhance their access to education. One of his significant recommendations was to create an online education platform at the Woman Online University, which could greatly benefit girls who are currently unable to pursue their studies.
The Woman Online University fully supports and values the dedicated efforts of its Professors and faculty members in amplifying the voices of girls who are deprived of education. This conference provided a vital platform for discussing and addressing the challenges related to migration and women’s rights. We are hopeful that the insights gained from this event will lead to improvements in the educational and social conditions for Afghan girls.
